Mark Making with Natural Materials // Eco-Art Series

In this workshop we will experiment with organic yarns and consciously foraged items from the land and sea to create beautiful, handmade mark-making tools. Kirsten will lead us through a series of exercises using these tools to create different lines, patterns, dots and textures with natural inks on a variety of surfaces. This experience will allow us to connect with ourselves, nature and each other through movement, sound, meditation and creative expression. The workshop includes all materials.

Kirsten McCracken is an ecotherapist, place-based educator, artist and consultant for eco conscious brands. She has a Masters in Education and a degree in Environmental Studies concentrating in ecological art and design. Kirsten is an earth and community loving creative dedicated to connecting others with the natural world.
