Circular Weaving for Beginners

Join Ashley from Willow and Rosebud for a fun and relaxing circular weaving workshop! We’ll begin by discussing the differences between circular weaving and weaving on a loom. You’ll learn how to warp a pre-wrapped hoop and we’ll cover basic weaving techniques to create your own circular weaving. You’ll experiment with various yarns and materials to create texture and depth.

You will be provided with a pre-wrapped round loom, warp thread, and tons of high-quality yarns in various colors and textures – there are truly endless possibilities! (Don’t worry I’ll guide you through!) Additionally, one of a kind handspun art yarn will be available to purchase to add a truly unique look to your woven piece. We’ll wrap up by covering finishing techniques.

This workshop is intended for beginners and no weaving experience is required. Upon completion, you will have a finished piece that is ready to hang on the wall and the inspiration to continue on your weaving journey!
